CLD Fencing is the UK’s leading supplier and manufacturer of rigid mesh fencing systems and security gates. The firm supplies bespoke fencing and security solutions for premier league football clubs, national and international utility sites, data centres, diplomatic and government buildings, schools and safe spaces for young people.
With offices in the UK, Sydney and Dubai, and over 40 years of experience, the firm needed a digital marketing partner that could increase relevant web traffic and enquiries.
We worked with CLD Fencing to optimise and manage an AdWords campaign that would drive traffic to their website and generate leads. When we started working with them in May 2017, the firm was using Hibu to manage their Google Ad account, which wasn’t ideal as it doesn’t offer the flexibility to tweak the campaign on a daily basis.
We implemented a monitoring and management strategy for their target keywords, analysing how much they were bidding on keywords compared to competitors, in order to maintain their competitive advantage. This was regularly monitored and analysed in order to discard any low scoring keywords. By monitoring the auction insights tool, we developed a strategic overview of their ad ranking position compared to competitors. Using this in-depth insight, we adjusted the AdCopy function, creating multiple versions of the same ad and closely monitoring which did better in terms of impression and clicks, allowing us to choose the most advantageous advert. We also offered full transparency to the client through the process.
We are now generating more leads each month for the same budget and cost per acquisition, and we are constantly improving this through proactive monitoring and ongoing optimisation.
