Tom Williams

SEO & AI Visibility Specialist

Tom has spent most of his career working agency side. After starting as an apprentice back in 2011, he learnt everything he could about SEO and eventually became the Director of SEO & Content at his first agency. He then moved on to gain some client side experience before eventually returning to agency life after missing the pace!

Tom loves anything technical and has a real love for technical SEO in particular. In recent years, AI search engines have changed the landscape and Tom has adapted to this by staying ahead of any changes.

Tom has worked with a large range of brands, from small B2B sites through to large eCommerce brands, gaining extensive knowledge across many industries.

What do you like to get up to outside of work?

I am a lifelong Aston Villa fan, with a season ticket. In recent years, I’ve travelled around Europe with Villa and was at the Europa league final!

What’s the best thing about working at WebBox?

What’s something we might not know about you?

I was in the air cadets when I was a young lad and went on a glider scholarship where I eventually few a glider solo.

And most importantly, for agency life, how do you take your tea/coffee?

Tea, plenty of milk and usually 3 sugars (not all the time though!)
