Rosemont Care provides specialist home care across Kent, Thurrock, Havering, Barking & Dagenham, and Hackney, supporting children, young people and adults with a wide range of needs.

Their services include 24-hour live-in care, learning disabilities support, complex clinical care, children’s care, supported living and adult home care. As a family-run care provider, Rosemont’s work is built around kindness, dignity, independence and person-centred support.

Rosemont needed a new website that better reflected who they are today, the specialist care they provide, and the warmth and professionalism families should feel when choosing a care provider.

The Challenge

Rosemont Care’s existing website no longer represented the organisation’s full range of services or the level of specialist support they provide.

The old site felt out of date and impersonal. It did not communicate the empathy, reassurance and trust required for a care website, particularly for families, referrers and individuals making sensitive decisions about support.

Rosemont also needed a clearer way to structure their services. Their team wanted the website to show the breadth of their care offering, from children’s care and learning disability support through to complex clinical care and adult home care, while keeping the experience simple, warm and easy to understand.

Another important requirement was flexibility. The Rosemont team wanted a website that felt more tailored than a standard template, but without the scale or complexity of a fully bespoke enterprise build. They also wanted to preserve their existing online presence and search visibility while improving the overall quality of the website.

The Solution

We delivered a new WordPress website using WebBox Canvas, our flexible block-based website framework.

This gave Rosemont the right balance of structure and customisation. Rather than starting from a blank page or forcing the client into a rigid template, we used a flexible bank of content blocks that can be adapted across the site. This allows Rosemont’s team to create varied page layouts, update content, and evolve the website over time without needing every future change to be designed from scratch.

To make the website feel specific to Rosemont, we included a focused design phase. This allowed us to explore the visual direction for key pages, including the homepage and an important internal page, before applying the design approach across the wider WordPress build.

A major focus was tone. Care websites need to guide users towards action without feeling pushy or overly commercial. The new Rosemont website uses clear but gentle calls to action, helping people explore services, make a referral or contact the team in a way that feels supportive and reassuring. This approach aligns closely with our Gentle Conversion Framework for Health & Care Websites, which focuses on reducing friction, building trust and guiding visitors towards meaningful next steps without using aggressive sales language.

We also worked with Rosemont to better communicate their specialist expertise. The website now highlights the people they support, including individuals with learning disabilities, autism, brain and spinal injuries, neurological conditions and complex medical needs. It also gives clearer visibility to their service areas, their values and their commitment to person-centred care.

Accessibility was built into the project from the start. The site was fully tested to WCAG 2.2 AA, helping ensure it is usable for as many people as possible, including families, professionals, carers and individuals accessing support.

The finished website gives Rosemont a warmer, clearer and more flexible digital presence, one that better reflects the professionalism of their team and the compassionate care they provide.

The Results

The new Rosemont Care website has recently launched, so we are currently monitoring its impact.

Over the coming months, we will review how users interact with the site, how effectively key journeys are performing, and whether the new structure and calls to action are helping Rosemont generate more relevant enquiries and referrals.

This section will be updated shortly with performance data once enough post-launch insight is available.

What’s next

We continue to support Rosemont Care through one of our ongoing website support plans.

This ensures their WordPress website remains secure, maintained and up to date, while giving the Rosemont team access to WebBox for future improvements as the organisation continues to evolve.

With a flexible block-based website now in place, Rosemont can continue to build on the new platform, add content, refine service pages and keep improving the experience for families, referrers and people looking for specialist care.
