Our new WebBox HQ makes the news

We knew that our new Cardiff office was kind of a big deal, but even the press were impressed with our on-brand workspace.

Last week saw the new WebBox HQ gain great online coverage over at WalesOnline’s Business Live, Insider Media and Wales247. We also gained print coverage with an outstanding feature in The Western Mail’s business supplement, too.

Wondering what all the fuss is about?

Well, conveniently located off Ocean Way near Cardiff city centre, our new home provides our expanding digital team with a work environment we just can’t get enough of.

Thanks to the help of a super interior designer, we (MD Will) tore down the outdated ceiling tiles to expose the original beams and added brick effect walls for a cool, industrial vibe.

We shunned walls in favour of an airy, open-plan workspace and created a cool meeting room with a custom made conference table, blackboard and giant plasma screen TVs for presentations.

Our dedicated break-out area – complete with astroturf, beanbags, cinema-sized screen for gaming and Netflix watching, a ping pong table foosball – also makes sure we fully make the most of our lunch breaks and downtime.

The kitchen, on the other hand, has a breakfast bar – fully stocked with cereals, cereal bars, fruit and healthy snacks – while our dedicated work pods – complete with Edison lights for added inspiration – give us plenty of privacy to get our heads down and churn out the high-quality digital marketing results that we’re known for.

The new workspace will also facilitate our forecasted 2020 growth, which is expected to exceed a 20% year on year growth in revenue by the end of the year.

Our MD, Will, couldn't be happier about the move, adding:

“The purchase of our new workspace is an investment that will help us continue to grow our digital services, expand our nationwide client-base, and create more career opportunities in the Welsh capital.

It’s a long term move for WebBox, and this investment will allow us to meet the increased demand for our digital services.

I’m proud of the way that we’ve consistently put service levels at the forefront of what we do. When I started WebBox in 2008, my vision was to grow a digital agency that really listened and put exceptional service at the heart of its offering.

I’m happy to say that, despite the agency’s growth, we’ve continued to keep this ethos at the core of WebBox, and I really do believe that it’s this approach that has earned us our exceptional client base.”

It’s this approach that’s seen some of the UK’s most well-known brands partner with us. Large contracts from the likes of Fever-Tree, Twickenham Stadium, Airbus, the NHS, and several FTSE 100 companies have helped us grow and make a name for ourselves within the digital sector.

WebBox’s continued growth is also creating some exciting new jobs in Cardiff. We currently have career opportunities for a Digital Marketing Manager and a Business Development Manager (Digital Consultant). You can find out more about our current job vacancies here.
