The Vale Resort is a remarkable venue, sitting on 650 acres of breathtaking natural beauty as well as its own wedding venue within Hensol Castle, giving couples a fairytale backdrop for their special day.
After the trials of Covid on the hospitality sector, The Vale & Hensol Castle reopened and, with it, a distillery - yum! This brought with it the opportunity to promote three different elements of the resort, including the new distillery tours and gin-making sessions. With the aim to increase expose, bookings and enquiries, it was decided to approach this with a fresh paid advertising strategy. We wanted to make sure that whether you were looking for a spa day, your dream wedding, a hotel stay or a fun day out, The Vale Resort & Hensol Castle stood out.
After meeting with the team at The Vale Resort and Hensol Castle and having a tour of the facilities, we worked closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Group Marketing Manager to determine what the campaign focus would be, what offerings would be promoted and how to introduce the distillery as part of the plan.
The campaign targets a number of the resort's key offerings, including:
- Hotel stays
- Spa days
- Golf trips
- Gym memberships
- Gin experiences
As a result, we determined that the campaign would be continuously evolving depending on the season and any key events or dates; in addition to this, the focus would shift so targets could be met with ease. As an example, at the start of the year, the focus was weddings and the stunningly unique venue; as the season changes, golf breaks will take that space.
To ensure that the team can see and understand what the advertising is doing for them in relation to their targets and aims, we provide live dashboard reporting as well as taking part in regular meetings with the client.
