As a leading provider of exceptional holiday homes in the UK, Perfect Stays needed a booking website and customer portal to match.

As a provider of luxury and unique holiday homes in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Dorset, Perfect Stays won’t give you an average experience. In fact, they take pride in their unparalleled bespoke service to help their guests plan and truly enjoy their stay, be it a family holiday, special occasion, short break or romantic retreat.

To reflect this, they needed to work with an agency that understood the importance of bespoke and tailored experiences – thankfully, it’s something we know a thing or two about.

The Challenge

We were commissioned to create a new website that would encapsulate their brand alongside a customer portal to reinstate their position as a market leader. This project would not only elevate the brand, but would also provide Perfect Stays with additional features such as, including the ability to book a break online, manage a booking and set preferences using the portal.

Though the objectives were clear, this was the first time that Perfect Stays would have a fully automated and online booking process, therefore, we supported the team in mapping out the business processes behind the booking process and automations.

Furthermore, Perfect Stays use a sector-specific CRM – iPro – which they wanted to be the central point of truth for all customer and booking data. We worked with iPro to develop the connection between the website and CRM, making sure that data flowed in real-time and in both directions.

The Solution

To reflect their offering, we developed a bespoke user-friendly content management system and integrated the industry-leading CRM, iPro. As an added benefit we also ensured that the CMS not only powered the Perfect Stays’ applications but also the website and portal of the sister brand, The Beach House Company.

Due to our ongoing relationship, we were immediately able to understand the requirements of the project and define the scope of work. Working within their brand guidelines, and understanding their vision, we collaboratively worked through each phase of the project. Some of the core features included:

  • Search functionality improvements e.g. high-quality filters with more options and flexibility
  • The integration of eCommerce to allow customers to book online
  • Integrating with iPro Software, HotJar, Google Services and Salesforce
  • Enabling customers to purchase and redeem gift vouchers
  • The ability to save properties into a favourites folder
  • A truly mobile-first user experience
  • A property owner portal for advanced management and reports of their property
  • A guest portal to allow guests to manage their booking(s), customise their stay and easily access useful information

By working with the Perfect Stays team closely we were able to successfully create a website and management system that gave them the functionality they needed while also reflecting the bespoke nature of their brand.

What’s next

We continue to support Perfect Stays via one of our website support plans as they continually develop the website based on user-feedback, trends, and data.

This tends to work by planning objectives on a quarterly basis, for larger development tasks, which picking up day-to-day support tasks in accordance with our SLA.
