A look back at our highlights of 2021

Well, it’s that time of year again, our MD, Will Roberts, is taking a look back at 2021 in the world of WebBox, and what a year it’s been!

There’s been a lot going on: changing the way we work, celebrating our 13th birthday, welcoming new team members and more - read on to find out.

It’s been a year of adapting but also one for bouncing back in our new normal.

We changed things up

Like many businesses, 2021 saw us come back into the office after a long time away. Five months into the year, we came back and, as a team, we decided to adopt hybrid working, which we're still doing! It allows all of us great flexibility, the team loves it, and we’re still providing excellent service.

We're officially a teenager!

4th October 2021 was our 13th birthday but, thankfully, it doesn't mean we're all going to be reliving our teenage years. That said, we did enjoy celebrating just how far we've come after starting in a spare room all those years ago!

Our website got a makeover

As part of our birthday celebrations, we launched our new website. Taking what we've learned over the years from our many, many web development projects and paid advertising campaigns, we decided it was time for a refresh. Want to find out more about how we did it? Click here.

The team continues to grow

We've grown the team again! This year we welcomed Cerys, our Project Manager, who joined us in November and Chris, our UX Designer, who joined us in February. But, that's not all, we also welcomed not one, not two, but three new developers – Nick, Claire and Rebecca. Why not head over to our team page to get to know them.

We're looking to the future with a fresh pair of eyes

2022 is already looking to start strong. Sean will be joining us in Q1 as our Business Development Director. This means he'll be looking after new and existing clients and proposing new ideas to get the most out of your website and paid ads. Make sure to give him a warm welcome when he arrives!

We delivered again and again

We've crafted, created and delivered fresh content such as “How to write the ultimate website brief that your agency will love” and “10 features that your website must have in 2021 to improve conversions” to thousands of businesses and marketers around the UK, not only virtually but also getting back to face-to-face events! Our most popular topic? The 22 “Must Haves" For Your Website in 2022 - make sure you're ready!

Word got out, and we've definitely earned our Christmas break!

This year we've continued to onboard some excellent clients, and we're thrilled that they have chosen us as their agency; from working on websites and web apps to PPC and programmatic campaigns, it's been a very busy year – pass the Mince Pies!

We're getting back to clients in less time than it takes to cook a turkey

While growing and through the busy periods, we've kept our support response time within an hour. We always want to ensure that our clients know that someone is on hand to help them with anything they need.

Our projects got very exciting!

We've launched many projects this year that we're seriously proud of, and we can't wait to share our hard work with you! So make sure to keep an eye on our Projects page to find out more.

Of course, it wasn't all work and no play!

We've worked incredibly hard this year, it's been fast-paced and sometimes challenging, but we've also loved it! It's been great to work with clients and each other to create amazing projects and see them come to life. Let's hope 2022 is just as fun!

All that’s left for me to say, is that I wish you a very Happy Christmas and New Year.
