What Will does at WebBox?

Our Managing Director Will founded WebBox back in 2008. Taking the chance to create a new business while studying at Glamorgan University during the financial crisis may have seemed mad to some — but he hasn’t looked back since. 

His focus is on ensuring that outstanding customer service is always at the heart of everything we do and the longer term strategy of the business is delivered. With a quick-thinking entrepreneurial mindset, Will works with our clients, getting to know them and their needs, while also keeping up to date with industry developments. 

A Google Ads accredited specialist, he is particularly proud of our work for DS Smith, an industry-leading web-based solution that has recently scaled worldwide, and our paid ad campaigns for Fever-Tree.

Q&A

What do you like to get up to outside of work? 
A father-of-two, in my scarce spare time I enjoy playing/listening to music, watching rugby, running and spending time with my family.

What's the best thing about working at WebBox? 
I love advising clients on the best web strategies to help them grow their brand and enjoy bridging the gap between designers and developers to come up with digital solutions that deliver results. I also love the fact that we work in an ever-evolving industry, so things don’t ever get boring!

You can only listen to one artist or band for the rest of your life. Who is it? 
Oh that’s a difficult question as I love listening to a varied mix of music. I’m going to go old school and say B.B. King.

What's something we might not know about you? 
I played hockey for Wales when I was 12, then continued to play for South Wales for several years after that until I stopped due to a back injury.

And most importantly, for agency life, how do you take your tea/coffee?
I’m glad you asked… Earl Grey tea with milk please!
